Aims:    
 
The aims of the course are to provide attendees with the knowledge, understanding and skill to:-
› Act as a team member in applying hazards and effects management process at task level.
› The process of conducting a job hazard analysis (JHA) on an existing task at the planning stage.
› Process of reviewing and updating a JHA at the completion stage of a task.
› Completing a JHA worksheet for a simulated operational task.

Objectives:  

On completion of the course attendees will be able to:-
› Describe the process of using JHA direct observation.
› Describe the process of using JHA recall and check techniques.
› As a part of a team, complete a JHA for a simulated workplace activity using group discussion technique.
› As a part of a team, evaluate existing engineering and administrative controls from a previous JHA.
› Complete a JHA worksheet of a simulated workplace activity.
